Seeded bingo card generator

Seed 2026 with a 5 × 5 card and numbers 1 to 75 always produces the same grid: 24 unique numbers around an open center square. Keep the seed and settings to reprint the exact card for a game night, an answer key or a class. Free in your browser.

Generate a complete bingo card that stays identical whenever you reuse the same seed and settings. Choose the row and column count, set an inclusive range of allowable integers, and receive a grid containing unique values. When both dimensions are odd, the exact center becomes a free space automatically.

Choose dimensions and a usable number range

Start by setting the number of rows and columns. A familiar bingo layout uses five rows and five columns, but the generator also supports rectangular cards and dimensions from one through one hundred. Then provide the smallest and largest allowed integers.

Every numbered cell receives a unique integer; no value repeats on the same card. If both dimensions are odd, the center position is reserved for the string FREE, reducing the number of integers required by one. A five-by-five card therefore needs twenty-four available numbers, while a four-by-five card needs twenty.

For predictable resource use, each dimension is capped at one hundred and the supplied range may contain no more than one hundred thousand integers. Negative and zero values are valid range members when the lower and upper bounds are ordered correctly.

Use the seed to reproduce an exact card

The seed controls the shuffle and must be a safe integer. Given the same rows, columns, minimum, maximum, and seed, the algorithm always returns the same values in the same positions. It does not call a random service, read the clock, use browser entropy, or depend on network state.

That makes the result suitable for saved game sessions, automated tests, answer keys, and print jobs that may need to be recreated later. Changing only the seed normally produces a different ordering, while changing the range or dimensions changes the pool and the number of positions filled. Treat the complete input as the recipe for a card: store all five fields when exact reconstruction matters.

A seed is a reproducibility control, not a security secret, and this generator does not claim cryptographic unpredictability. It uses a fixed deterministic pseudo-random sequence followed by an unbiased Fisher–Yates shuffle of the integer pool. The output echoes every setting, reports whether a free center was applied, and places the finished grid in the card field for straightforward rendering or export.

Render, distribute, and validate the result

The card field is an array of rows, and every row is an array of cells. Consumers should preserve that distinction when drawing a table, producing a PDF, or importing the result into another system. The free space appears only when both row and column counts are odd, because only then does the grid have one unambiguous center cell.

Even-by-even and rectangular grids with either even dimension contain numbers in every position. Before a game, generate each participant card with a distinct recorded seed while keeping the dimensions and range fixed. You can later regenerate any disputed card from its saved input without retaining a generated file.

For classroom worksheets, a teacher can pair the seed with an answer key and recreate materials during a later term. Validation errors identify malformed dimensions, unsafe numeric inputs, reversed bounds, excessive ranges, and ranges that cannot supply enough unique values, so callers can correct the recipe before distributing a card.

Run repeatable bingo sessions

Save each player's seed and recreate the exact card later for verification or replacement printing.

Build classroom worksheets

Generate numbered activity grids with a consistent free center and retain the recipe alongside an answer key.

When is the center a free space?

The center is FREE when both rows and columns are odd. If either dimension is even, every cell contains a number.

Can a number appear twice on one card?

No. Values are selected without replacement from the inclusive number range.

Will the same seed always create the same card?

Yes, provided rows, columns, minimum, maximum, and seed are all unchanged.

Can I make a card that is not five by five?

Yes. Rows and columns each go from one to one hundred, and rectangular cards are allowed. The center is left open only when both counts are odd, because only then is there a single middle square.

What if my number range is too small for the card?

The card is not created, rather than repeating numbers or leaving gaps. A five-by-five card needs twenty-four numbers and a four-by-five card needs twenty, and both ends of the range count.

Prefer to automate it? One authenticated POST creates the task; the result comes back by webhook or a signed link. The same capability also runs here on the web, by email and from Telegram — and soon from our app too.

The API is asynchronous: the call returns a task_id immediately and the result arrives by webhook. Polling is capped at 1 req/s per task.

HTTPCodeMeaning
401unauthorizedMissing or invalid API key.
402insufficient_balanceYour balance doesn't cover the task price.
404unknown_typeThat task type doesn't exist.
429rate_limitedToo many requests. Use the webhook instead of polling.

Choose dimensions and a usable number range

Both endpoints belong to the range, so a minimum of 1 and maximum of 75 supplies seventy-five possible values. The request fails clearly when the inclusive range is too small, rather than returning duplicate values or a partly filled grid.

Render, distribute, and validate the result

Numbered cells are JSON numbers; an automatic center space is the JSON string FREE. API automation costs $0.002 per card request, and the pure bounded algorithm requires no uploaded files or outside services.

Create deterministic test fixtures

Use stable cards to test table rendering, exports, win detection, and game-state persistence without flaky randomness.

What does one API request cost?

Each generated card costs $0.002 through the API.

What happens when the range is too small?

The request returns an invalid_input error stating how many values are available and how many numbered cells are required.
